Real Snow This Time

Yay, my ball is frozen.

We're having a snow day and it's so much fun, even the schools got closed.
We might even get some more tonight .

Today we got almost 2 inches of this wonderful white stuff, I'm so glad we don't live in Florida.

My, How We've Grown !

Same dog. Same staircase. Wolf at 13 weeks.

Wolf at 18 months.
Sometimes it's just fun to just look back and see how much growth there has been.

Don't laugh...

Come on guys---time to wake up---it snowed again this morning!
(Wolf waiting patiently) Hurry Mom, before it melts!

Oh well, Mom says there is still plenty of time left this winter for some real snow. I know it doesn't look like much---but we all have to work with what we have, right?

Even "puny" snow is better than no snow. Maybe next time?

SNOW----(sort of)

hey---where'd it all go?

Well, it may be only a dusting, but it's white and cold and I love it. See, I even managed to get some on my nose---Shiloh-style. Yay for snow!

How About This?

Hey, I figure that if I wear my Rally-O scarf, someone will take me to class soon. Sounds good to me!

Come On Spring

One thing I am learning....it's not as much fun around here in January as it is in the Spring, Summer and Fall (of course, Christmas is fun!). We don't get much snow here, so I don't really get to go play in the snow much. And I can't follow the tractor around the yard, or play as much "chuck-it" as I want. There are no Shiloh events or dog shows, or picnics either! Sigh. So I say----Come on Spring---I can hardly wait for you!

Woolies

Here is a picture of me earlier this summer during my Herding Capability Test. There were actually 3 sheep in the pen, but I particularly liked this one. Shilohs are a Herding breed, so I was doing what comes naturally for us. The only way to advance though, are some lessons. More chances to play with the woolies---yay.

Pawsability

We are going to attend a doggie event called "Pawsability" on March 14th. It's in Pennsylvania and it sounds like it'll be a blast. They have things like dog olympics, rally-o, agility try-outs, dog parades, "Dock Dog" demonstrations and many other good things to see and do. It's to make the public aware of service dogs, and it's a fundraiser too. Many Shilohs will be there too, along with all kinds of dogs. Oh boy!
